Welcome ...to Tefft Hill, a residential community in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, only a 10 minute drive or 30 minute bike ride from the beaches of Narragansett and South Kingstown. An active association of 219 single family homes, Tefft Hill is located near the University of Rhode Island and the South County Bike Path. Our quiet neighborhood streets and sidewalks provide a pleasant retreat from the busy world and a safe place to stroll the bike path, leading to the historic downtown area and local beaches.
Established in 1989, the homeowners’ association has been effectively managed by volunteer homeowners who ensure Tefft Hill looks its best and is a relaxing place for our families. Our charming and hilly neighborhood was once part of the 500-acre dairy farm owned by John Tefft from the 1670's. With over 100 acres of open space throughout, the neighborhood maintains its rural roots and provides critical wildlife habitat.
We are a group of friendly neighbors with occasional block parties and regular neighborhood yard sales where you get to know your neighbors by name. All homeowners are welcome at all of our association meetings and are encouraged to become part of the association volunteers.
Remember, the Tefft Hill Neighborhood Yard Sales are held twice a year, every year:
