Activity/Learning CentersThe Neighborhood Guild
The Neighborhood Guild was built by Augusta Hazard in 1908. He was a descendant of Rowland Hazard, who setlled here in 1804. In honor of his southern wife, Mary Peace, Rowland named the village "Peace Dale." The Guild was originally established to provide lessons and training in the "domestic arts" for the women of Peace Dale. Today the Guild is home to a wide variety of activities, lessons (including music), sports instruction, child care, and community activities. Please call the Guild, or stop by to find out what they have to offer.
