March 11, 1999 Monthly Board Meeting

Board Members Present:

Sharon Desaulnier, Bill Boardman
Absent: Rick Kasper

Officers Present:

President Curt Mays, Vice Pres. Karen DeBoer, Secretary Tracy Kubricky, Treasurer Ron Ramieri

President Curt Mays called the meeting order. The minutes of the February meeting were made available. The minutes were accepted as distributed.

Treasurer’s Report:

$3,395.89 in the savings account. $1,279.70 in the checking account. The $25,000 CD should start earning interest in April. Two homeowners still owe 1998 dues. They will be referred to the attorney.

Architectural Review Board:

No report

Covenants Committee:

No new violations. The issue of "Eminent Domain" was discussed. The board decided to have letters sent by the attorney to the three homeowners who have made significant changes to the open space abutting their properties. Bill Boardman will call Terry Simpson to have him draft a letter to be reviewed by the board before being sent out.

Ground Committee:

The Chestnut Hill Watch Hill Way area was discussed. A meeting will be held Sunday March 14th at the area to discuss possible plans. It will be discussed at the next meeting.

Old Business:

Then insurance was changed from Starkwhether and Shepley to Gates Insurance. The cost is significantly less.

The next meeting will be April 8th, 1999 at South Road School.
